Soon to be released

Basically there are 3 ways to claim the new domain names. Check out our explanation on How to Claim the New TLD Names on our Tumblr blog.

Google treats new TLDs as gTLDs

How does Google treat all these new TLDs? Google’s John Mueller said that they are treated currently as gTLDs, Generic Top-Level Domains. So the same as they treat a .com, .net, .org and so on domain name. Even if the new TLD sound like they may be region-specific (eg .berlin).
If, over time, shows that these specific TLDs are clearly limited to only websites from those regions, Google might reconsider this. In the meantime, you should be able to set geo targeting manually for these TLDs.
