Another two busy months here at Good Websites. From full redesigns to behind-the-scenes tweaks, here’s a round-up of what we’ve been working on through June and July.
Keeping WordPress websites up-to-date
All websites on our WordPress Management Plan are now running WordPress 6.8.2, the latest version. This keeps things running smoothly and securely, and keeps up with best practices, with no effort needed on their end.
A big hello
We’re pleased to welcome a new client: jobwx.
Websites we’ve launched
Mobile Flywheel Machining
Their one-page website has undergone a full redesign, featuring new colours, fresh photos and videos, updated services, and an upgrade to the latest Bootstrap 5.3.3 framework. Every detail has been fine-tuned. A website isn’t a one-and-done project; it’s an evolving marketing tool.

BOP Open Studios
Now part of the Garden and Art Festival team, the BOP Open Studios event deserved its own page. The new page has its own bold colour palette, so it stands out from the festival pages.

Sneak Peeks
We’re working on a sleek, modern redesign for the Hayson Knell website. Watch this space.

We’re working on some mobile improvements for the Kingfisher Boats website, focusing on the most important content so users can get where they need to go faster. There’s now a sticky enquiry button at the bottom for quick access, and the new full-screen menu keeps things clean and easy to navigate. Small changes, big difference.

Tauranga Landscaping’s website is getting a fresh new look too. The redesign will help them present their work even better online.

Website Tweaks and Enhancements
Ceiling Restorations – Fresh updates
Fresh updates for the Ceiling Restorations website. Their one-page website has been updated with new photos, rewritten content, fresh testimonials, and updated contact details. We’ve also upgraded the code framework.

Garden and Art Festival – Improved mobile navigation
Always fine-tuning the little things! We’ve fine-tuned the mobile menu for the Bay of Plenty Garden and Art Festival website to create a more user-friendly and better-looking mobile navigation. Now, it boosts a full-screen overlay effect.

Wealleans – New content added
We’ve updated and added new content to the Wealleans Foliar Solutions page, aligning it with their latest marketing materials. Clear info, updated content, and a better reflection of this new service.

Q-safe and Zardocs – Geotargeting
Geo-targeting is now in place. If you’re in South Africa, you’ll land on their local site. Visiting from anywhere else? You’ll be sent to their global website. Easy as that. A smart way to provide users with the right information without making them click around.

Macs Pottery – Keeping things fresh
A new showroom section on the Macs Pottery website! Now you can see where to explore all the latest ceramic pieces in real life! Keeping your website fresh with new content or features is a great way to show your business is active and evolving.

Papamoa Beach Family Practice -Updated sliders and banners
New sliders and banners for the Papamoa Beach Family Practice website, promoting their Free Health Improvement Practitioner services.
